Mckenzie May...MARRIED!!!

That's right... the BFF got married! So happy for her! It was seriously the perfect day. Weather, the temple, the cute couple, the everything! Also, the CUTEST outdoor wedding I have ever seen. So creative and so many cute decorations. First off, of course we had to throw her a bridal shower :) it was so fun seeing everyone! We had a few fun games and some present openings :) I must say Kenz and Steve know each other VERY well. She got tonnnsss of the questions right of what he would say she would say... if that makes sense..

And then the perfect wedding day...

I warned Steve that he better treat her right or he'll have me to deal with... but I'm not too worried about it :) It was such a special experience to be able to see them be sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple. Always such a great reminder that families can be together for ETERNITY! So proud of Kenz and so grateful for her constant friendship. I would be a mess without her! I love you Kenz! Hope you're having fun on your honeymoon.... :)

One Year Anniversary!

What the? HOW have we been married for a whole year!! Best year of my whole life. We had such a fun anniversary. For our wedding night we stayed in this cute little bed and breakfast called 5th East Hall in American Fork. It has themed rooms and is sooo fun. So, we decided to go stay there again for our one year! We stayed the night before our Ann, so we could take work off on our actual Ann and play all day. This time we stayed in the "Cancun" themed room. It was sooo cool. There was sand, and BIRDS!! (trained to go quiet when the lights go out... and they really did!) and huge tub, hammock, romanticy bed, and just everything. We had so much fun.
This is Charlie, and Baby Blue. There is also  White Angel in the cage... but he didn't want to play :(

This was like a.... double king bed! haha soooo much room.

Fun hammock :)

A little frame thing I made for Spence and a letter I wrote him :)

Oooo La La!

Spence just HAD to play in the sand!

Complimentary breakfast :)
So we went and checked into our room, and then decided to go to dinner. (I have to tell this next story just so I'll remember it... feel free to skip ahead!) So Spence reallllyyyy wanted chinese for dinner. And we love Whistle Wok in AF. So we were gonna go there but then I really wanted to go to China Isle and try something new. So we go there, we get seated, and we start looking at the menu. I just didn't want ANYTHING they had to offer! It was so weird. I for some reason just couldn't figure out the menu and how to order and what meal and all that stuff. So I begged and begged Spence to just walk out with me... and we could go to Whistle Wok. Haha he was SO embarrassed. We had like 6 different waiters come up and ask for our order and we just kept saying we weren't ready yet, because I was still begging Spence to let us leave. So finally he agreed and the waitress comes up and I'm all... "Uhhh... we don't feel like this anymore. We didn't drink out of the water cups don't worry..." and basically ran out. haha it was so funny. To us. Sounds really lame when just telling it...hence why I warned you to skip ahead. Your fault if you decided to read it :) So after dinner at Whistle Wok... delicious! We were driving around and drove past Swig. My coworkers LOVE swig. I don't drink carbonation or like treats really... so I've never been. We decided to go in though so spence could get a "dirty dr. pepper" I ended up getting an icee. SO GOOOOOODDDD. Something about their ice was incredible. So we just hung out there for a bit and ate our delicious treats :)
mmmmm.
So on our actual anniversary, we slept in, woke up, and went to the aquarium! I have been wanting to go for so long since they moved. It was pretty cool! Honestly I didn't feel it was too much better than the other one, but I love the aquarium so I thought it was fun! They do have these cool 4D movies where the chairs like move and they spray water at you and stuff. We saw a great white shark movie. It was really cool! And of course petting the sting rays is by far my fave part :)

apparently we were supposed to do a normal face..?
After that we went to my parents house to get our year old cake! Haha it actually wasn't that bad. We had fun cutting and eating it nonetheless :) and thanks to my pops for being there and documenting the moment!

So allllll summer long I have been begging for a bike. We live so close to everything I need... I just want a bike to ride to get places. Not and expensive one. Just a cheap little beach cruiser from walmart. And that's exactly what Spence got me! After we cut out cake he took me to Walmart and told me to pick out a bike!! Haha but then I felt guilty that we would be spending so much on me and I just gave him a few homemade gifts. Plus, it's not very fun to just ride around by yourself. So, I talked Spence into getting one too :) It seriously took like 2 hours to pick them out. I probably road every bike in the store before I decided. And wherever the saying "it's like riding a bike" came from, like meaning you never forget... is way off. Haha I haven't ridden a bike in forever and maybe I didn't totally forget... but it takes some getting used to! I still have a hard time steering the dang thing!

We put a little basket on the back of mine and went to the farmers market to get some fruit and veggies :)
After we got our bikes it was dinner time! We went to Iggy's. Spencers alllll time fave. And I love it too! There was no one there and the waiter we had was the niiiiicest. He gave us an extra plate of fries just cause, and free dessert! It was the perfect ending to the perfect day :)

so nice!
This part wasn't technically on our anniversary, but I made this little date night thing for Spence for our ann. I came up with 12 date nights, one for each month and numbered which month to do which date so it would be weather appropriate. So the one for the month was the Sundance moonlight lift ride! We went last night and it was super fun. The line was sooo long. So we kept our selves busy by me teaching Spence the alphabet in sign language. Haha it was so fun. The lift and time just the two of us was well worth the wait and the money!

It was such an amazing anniversary! I don't know how we'll ever top it :) Thanks to my cute husb for being so perfect. I know I'm the luckiest.

Saturday fun day!

We went up to heebs and played with the little chillens all day! They are so sweet and crazy and fun. It was so fun to hang out with them!

Apparently the droopy ears are a sad/mad bunny. I did my best to make that face...

Love these nieces and nephews of mine so much! I say it all the time... but I'm seriously so blessed to have married into such an amazing family! I don't know how I got so lucky!!!

4th of July!

We had such a fun 4th this year! Carrie Underwood is my all time fave. So Spence got us tickets to go see her in Stadium of Fire! It was increeeedible. He also got tickets for both of our parents, and his sister and her fiance. It was the perfect weather, the perfect company, and the perfect entertainer! Spence was so sweet to do this for me :)

Spence is obsessed with cougar tails...

Then for the 5th we got to have our annual BBQ with the Johnsons! We started doing this 12 years ago after Melissa Johnson passed away. It's a memorial  bbq in honor of her. I was so young when it happened and wasn't able to be really best friends with her yet, but I do know that she was the sweetest, most positive girl out there. She is so loved and struck everyone so deeply with her sweet spirit. We miss her everyday.

She's so beautiful!

And then of course we always end the BBQ with some fireworks! It's so fun to do fireworks with little kids. They are just in complete awe the entire time. Love it.

The girls watching the fireworks!

A Lazy Blogger.

Welp... considering I haven't blogged in suuuuper long... I'm gonna take the easy route (sp?) and just post pictures of our past few months. So many things have happened! Biggest... we moved!! :) And no... we didn't buy a house. We are just renting. But we love it so so much and are so happy with the decision :) Pictures of the inside to come soon...
This cutie has had so many fun things happen!

Got a trophy at her dance recital :)

and graduated preschool!

I decided to try my first stencil :) haha not fantastic.. but fun!

We had the fam over to our new house for a bbq!
My mom came to visit me at work and we 100% matched :)
We did a super fun Special Needs charity walk for out little Eddy :)
Could he get any cuter?

Memorial day! We love you Grandma and Grandpa!

Had a fun picnic and had to get a pic with the girls in pink :)

Tara graduated!!! Love her sooo much!
Decided to be crafy and redo my desk... and put a mirror on it to make a vanity!

and needed some extra drawers I guess :)

So that's a lot of the fun we've been having! Most of our time has been filled with packing, moving, and unpacking. Oh and work... yuck! That vanity by the way.. took TEN HOURS!!! To refinish. Stripping paint is no joke! Alsooooo... I have to give a shout out to my BFF who is ENGAGED!!!! So happy for her and her soon to be. Love them both so much!!

Cutest couple. So happy for them!!
