Baby Announcement :)

On July 29th we were finally able to see our baby for the first time! We went to the Doctor intending to hear the heart beat, but they actually couldn't find it. Said mine was overpowering the baby's heart. So they did an ultra sound to show me that the heart was healthy and beating! The baby was moving around like crazy. It was so fun to see. And then all of a sudden... it WAVED at us! I'm not even joking. A full on wave. Like... "Hi mom and dad, I'll see you soon!" type of wave. Haha luckily we got it on video. I'm pretty sure I've watched it at least 387 times by now. I just can't see it enough! It was so fun to see and we had such a good morning. Plus that weekend my sister in law Kelli let us use their doppler to find and hear the heart beat.. and we found it! That was so fun. Her daughter Tesla was listening and being so quiet and then got the biggest smile on her face once we found it. It was so cute.

I have FINALLY hit the 13 weeks and was able to announce my pregnancy to all of our friends and family on Social Media :) I knew exactly what I wanted to do to announce it.. but I didn't exactly want to pay anyone to take some pictures of us. So my brother Skyler went out with me and Spence one evening and snapped a few shots of us for the announcement! I think they just turned out super cute :)

I have to say... I couldn't be more happy to be ending my 1st trimester. I mean being sick was fun and all... but I could probably live without it and am so excited to start showing and finding out the gender! I just realize how much more I love this baby every single day and how excited I am to be it's mom! Spence has also been just the sweetest. He does all the house work while I sleep the extra 3 hours a day I feel like I need basically. And when I get sick he makes me food instantly to help it pass.
Which also... why did no one tell me you have to eat like every hour to keep the sickness away? For someone who is as picky as I am, it's really hard to come up with food I like that often! But he has been the best through it all.

We are so happy and so blessed. This little jelly bean will be one spoiled baby!
